I don't really see any true positives from this one going 100% DRM free.īesides the devs/publishers getting to keep more percentage of the sale. It seems it still sold 1-2 million units on steam, so not that bad for a game that were classed as a +0 day 'cracked', but no horrible denuvo at least. while still (usually) preventing any co-op/multiplayer for the ones that got it from 'some other means', and that is in my opinion a good thing. Ray tracing is a renowned choker of hardware, which is why every bit of outside help can be the difference between gameplay and saving for another graphics upgrade.Nioh 1 had only Steam as DRM, and it's not directly intrusive. It took some time before DLSS hit its stride, but Nioh 2: The Complete Edition owners will find that it's a reliable way to save precious hertz, without any noticeable loss in image quality.Īnyone who's pounced on Nvidia's RTX Series for their ray tracing capabilities probably has DLSS etched into their pillow, for a good reason.
